For example, if you are searching for a product online and you find two websites that have this product for sale at the same price. Website A has a simple static image of that product whilst Website B has a video explaining the dimensions of the product, the features of the product, opens the product up and shows you the functions of the inside, how it's wrapped up and more. That video can provide you with more trust and credibility and if you continue to buy from that website, you will build a "relationship" as you become familiar with the person "presenting" the video. Not only that but there are now many video search engines and directories, so you can upload your video to these services, which helps your website be found because you can place links back to your website and keywords (or tags) relevant to your product or service.
